Flexikids Albatros

Flexikids Albatros is the after-school care (BSO) that has been working closely with primary school De Albatros in Almere since August 2008. We are located right inside the school building at Edelhertweg 85, so children stay in their familiar environment after school hours. Our BSO group consists of one classroom with a maximum of 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. We also have access to the gymnasium and auditorium, which is wonderful for our activities. Our enthusiastic childcare professionals are available every weekday from 07:00 to 19:00, 52 weeks a year (except for official holidays and the Friday after Ascension Day). We provide care before and after school, on teacher training days and during school holidays. Children always remain in their trusted place with familiar faces around them. We follow the pedagogical policy of Flexikids, focusing on attention, peace and regularity. After school, children can enjoy playing outside in the schoolyard, followed by creative activities or games in our spacious corners. We regularly use the gymnasium for sports activities and games. We consider what children need that day: some days active play is perfect, other days relaxing with a book or quiet game is preferred. Flexikids Albatros is small-scale and manageable. Parents appreciate that their children stay in one fixed location with the same familiar faces. We personally inform parents about the day and are always available for questions.
