Welcome to daycare Figaro, located in the De Batter integrated school building at Middengouw 19 in the heart of Ursem. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland and have provided trusted, professional childcare for children aged 0–4 for more than 40 years. Our modern, colourful premises are spacious and share the building with two primary schools and a public library, with whom we closely collaborate. At Figaro we work with age-based groups so activities match each child’s developmental stage. Our ‘Cubs’ (0–2 years) and ‘Lions’ (2–4 years) each have their own secure space. The daily schedule is balanced, alternating organised group activities with free play and individual choice. Story-time is a regular feature; we sometimes use the story corner or puppet theatre in our toddler group. We offer early-years education (VVE) for children from 2.5 years. Opening hours are 7:00–18:30 and half-day care is possible. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day to give your child a safe, stimulating and loving environment.
