Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer KDV Ut Bottertjen, located in the heart of Urk at Slenk 1b. Since early 2025 we are part of the Eigen&Wijzer family, a sister company of Fantaziehuis. Our location is a small-scale daycare centre for a maximum of 28 children aged 0 to 4 years, offering loving, Christian childcare. We work from a Christian worldview and believe that every child is unique. Our pedagogical staff create a homely environment where children feel safe and secure. The play and development areas are carefully designed with materials that invite play and discovery, making our centre feel like an extension of home. Language development is central to our approach. We regularly visit Urk library, sing songs during play, read aloud and organise language-focused activities. In this playful way we prepare children for primary education and stimulate their natural curiosity and talents. Our professional team pays great attention to the individual development of each child. We work with themes that connect to the world of young children, providing a rich learning environment. The outdoor area is safe and challenging, allowing children to play and explore outside as well.
