KDV Pippeloen

Welcome to KDV Pippeloen, located at Waalstraat 23 in the heart of Geldermalsen. We are part of RivaKids, an organisation that has provided small-scale, trusted childcare in the Rivierenland region for over 25 years. Everything we do revolves around personal attention, familiar faces and a warm, homely atmosphere in which children aged 0 to 4 feel safe and free to develop. Our location has a maximum capacity of 60 places and works with vertical groups. This means babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn together. This setup encourages natural interaction between ages and gives young children the chance to learn from one another. Our experienced pedagogical staff know every child – and their parents – personally. They provide a fixed daily routine with plenty of rest and regularity so that children quickly feel at home. Playing, discovering and developing happens both indoors and outdoors. Our spacious garden invites climbing, scrambling and romping. Rain or shine: we go outside at least twice every day. Indoors we offer various development corners: a cosy reading corner, a creative table for crafts, a construction area and a soft baby corner. We use the VVE programme Uk & Puk, allowing children to develop language and speech skills through play. For us, care is more than changing a nappy. During nappy changes we make time for one-to-one moments: singing a song, playing peek-a-boo or simply cuddling. Meals and drinks also focus on the social aspect. Children choose their own piece of fruit, help spread their sandwich and drink water or tea. In between there is room for a story, a dance or a building project. Little ones who still take an afternoon nap get all the rest they need in our separate sleeping area. In short: at KDV Pippeloen children find a second home. A place where they can be themselves, discover the world and where parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
