BSO MikMak

Welcome to BSO MikMak, our small-scale after-school care centre in Deil. We are located inside the R.Lokhorstschool at Ringelesteinstraat 2, a familiar place where children can unwind after school and enjoy new adventures. Our pedagogical staff lovingly welcome the children each afternoon. Together we pick activities from the Doenkids database, ensuring every day brings something fun. Children can also choose free play or head outside for a game of football on the adjacent playground. When the school organises talent afternoons, our BSO joins in seamlessly, allowing every child to discover and develop their talents naturally. During school holidays and study days we run special themed programmes packed with creative and sporty activities. We often go out—to the forest, the playground, or cook together in a central kitchen. Every holiday becomes a celebration. We operate one group with a maximum of 20 children. This keeps things personal: we know each other well and there is always time for individual attention. Children from R.Lokhorstschool and from other nearby schools are equally welcome. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:00. We believe children should feel safe and seen. That is why we keep communication lines short, encourage child participation and offer a broad range of activities. Outdoor play is a given, as is exploring what you enjoy and what you are good at.
