Welcome to Peuteropvang Kalenberg, part of RivaKids located at J.H. L.-van Herwaardenstraat 2a in Meteren. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 and are situated within the Kalenberg child centre, giving us access to a large gym and plenty of indoor space to play and explore. Our stable team works every day with child-centred pre-school themes. In this way we help toddlers playfully understand the world around them better and prepare them step by step for primary school. We challenge the children to grow and learn in a safe and familiar environment. Playgroup Kalenberg is open during school weeks from Monday to Friday, 08:30–12:00, except on official public holidays and the annual staff training day. We operate one horizontal group: Kalenberg 1, specially for children aged 2–4. Parents can book up to five mornings per week. We do not offer flexible care; instead we work with a fixed schedule. Before starting, we always plan a calm settling-in period so that your child can become familiar with the new surroundings, the pedagogical staff and the other children in a secure way. Our location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 220384629) under the Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Gemeente Geldermalsen. You can therefore apply for childcare allowance.
