PO De Rietpeuters

Peuteropvang De Rietpeuters is part of RivaKids and is located at the rear of primary school De Rietschoof in the heart of Opijnen. We provide development-oriented toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Themes and a consistent daily rhythm are central to our approach, creating a safe and familiar environment where children can explore to their heart’s content. Our qualified pedagogical staff design fresh, educational activities each week that tie in with the current theme. Think of arts & crafts, singing, story time and games that stimulate language and motor development. We deliberately keep group sizes small so every child receives the attention they deserve. Our spacious indoor and outdoor areas invite movement and discovery; our garden offers rich nature experiences. De Rietpeuters follows the Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme, preparing toddlers for primary school in a playful way and offering extra support to children who need it. Parents are actively involved: we regularly share developmental goals and organise parent meetings and participation events.
