PO de Regenboog

Welcome to Peuteropvang De Regenboog, part of RivaKids and located inside primary school De Regenboog at Mr. Rinkstraat 19 in Tiel. Everything we do revolves around the young child. We provide a safe, familiar place where toddlers aged 2 to 4 can develop naturally through play. Thanks to our unique location within the school, we work closely with the teachers of De Regenboog, ensuring a smooth continuous learning line and a warm transition into the kindergarten class. Our space is cosily arranged with different play and development corners: a kitchen corner, construction corner, dress-up corner and a quiet reading nook full of picture books. We work thematically; each theme brings new materials and activities that connect with the children’s world of experience. Think of crafting with natural materials, singing and dancing in circle time with Puk – our hand puppet – and building with wood and plastic. Outside we have a private garden with a sandbox, slide and plenty of room to run, cycle and play. Rain or shine: outdoor play is part of our daily programme. We follow the Piramide development triangle and provide Early Childhood Education (ECE) for children from 2.5 years who can benefit from extra language or developmental stimulation. Our ECE coach supports the pedagogical staff in this. During drop-off (from 8:15 a.m.) and pick-up (until 2:00 p.m.) we take time for personal contact. Parents are always welcome to play along or ask questions. Nappies, fruit and drinks are included, so parents can participate worry-free.
