Fantaziehuis De Groene Weide BSO

Fantaziehuis De Groene Weide BSO is located inside primary school Op de Groene Alm, right in the Utrecht Hoge Weide district. Thanks to this special location children stay in their familiar surroundings after school and step straight into a world of adventure. We welcome up to 100 children, divided into four groups: Spetters, Toppers, Bikkels and Kanjers. Each group has its own identity, tailored to the age and interests of the children. Outside, a large playground with climbing frames, swings and a zip line awaits. Older children love to hide in the bushes for a game of hide-and-seek or build huts among the trees. Indoors we have a technology room where children create the most beautiful crafts, a kitchen for joint cooking sessions and a gym to burn off energy. Our pedagogical staff offer a varied programme: cooking, sports, creative workshops and quiet corners with books and board games. We are open Monday to Friday from 14.15 to 18.30. After school we share fruit and water or tea together. Children then choose: join the activity on offer or enjoy free play in one of the cosy corners. At around half past four we have another drink and make time to tidy up and exchange stories with parents. We are also open during school holidays and study days. Each holiday has its own theme packed with creative and sporty activities. Together with the children we turn every holiday into a celebration.
