Welcome to Ewa’s Childcare IV at Hoogkarspelstraat 68 in The Hague. Our daycare centre is part of the Ewa’s Childcare organisation and offers care for up to 36 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into three horizontal groups: the Chicks, Elephants and Frogs. Each group has a maximum of 12 children and is guided by permanent, familiar pedagogical staff who create a warm and safe environment. Our location is situated on the ground floor of a senior-citizen complex on a quiet street. The front houses the entrance, while the rear features an enclosed outdoor playground adjacent to a car park. This green play area is rich in natural stimuli and provides daily space for outdoor play and discovery. We regularly use the immediate surroundings: visits to the library, the petting zoo, the forest or the playground are among our fixed excursions. We also organise puppet shows and work monthly around a theme that connects to the children’s world of experience. We operate extended opening hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., allowing parents to make flexible use of childcare. Swapping days and booking extra hours is possible. We are closed on public holidays and once every five years on 5 May; on 5, 24 and 31 December we close at 5:00 p.m. Parking in the neighbourhood is free until 6:00 p.m. and we are easily accessible by tram lines 2, 4 and 6.
