Ewa's Childcare

Welcome to Ewa’s Childcare located at Pretoriusstraat 154 in The Hague. We are a day-care centre (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 years and can accommodate up to 30 children in three horizontal groups. Our site spans two floors, each with its own enclosed outdoor playground. The entrance is on the corner of the building; we are situated directly opposite a primary school and adjacent to a community centre, offering plenty of safe excursion options and familiar play areas. At Ewa’s Childcare we work every day with a permanent team of pedagogical staff and familiar substitutes. Each group has its own regular carer who recognises and understands your child. We use monthly themes that connect with the world of perception of young children. With the help of Kiki, our friendly bear, we stimulate four areas of development: motor skills, social-emotional development, speech & language and cognitive incentives. We sing songs, do arts and crafts, read stories and spend lots of time outdoors. We regularly take trips to nearby playgrounds, the library or the petting zoo. Our opening hours are 06:00 to 18:00. We are easily reached by tram lines 2, 4, 6, 11 and 12, and parking in the neighbourhood is free until 18:00. We are closed on public holidays and once every five years also on 5 May; on 5, 24 and 31 December we close at 17:00.
