2Zeppelins

2Zeppelins is our after-school care (BSO) location at Jan Steenstraat 2 in Monster. We provide care for up to 45 children aged 6 to 12. Younger children start at 2Vliegers and can transfer to 2Zeppelins when space becomes available. At 2Zeppelins we follow the Montessori philosophy. This means we give children the freedom to make their own choices and discover their talents. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in a calm, respectful manner. We believe in the power of independence and the importance of a prepared environment where children can explore, play and learn. Our activities are varied and tailored to the children's interests. We regularly visit the beach or park, play football in the sports hall of TTV Smash Monster and organize creative workshops. Making artworks, building with natural materials and sports clinics are all on the programme. Children can indicate what they feel like doing and thus learn to take responsibility for their own time. The location has a spacious garden and a sports hall, providing plenty of opportunities for physical activity. We believe it's important that children can relax and release their energy after a school day. At the same time, we offer quiet moments for those who need them. This creates a safe and homely atmosphere where every child feels at home. 2Zeppelins is part of Kinderopvang 2Samen, a social organization that has been providing childcare for over 40 years in The Hague, Monster and Naaldwijk. We stand for quality, commitment and a warm approach to children and parents.
