2Lepelaars

2Lepelaars is a welcoming daycare centre located in a beautifully renovated former infant school in the Vogelwijk district of The Hague. We provide care for up to 65 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our centre features a lovely natural garden with a play hill and slide, a spacious sandbox and a sheltered outdoor deck for the very youngest. The groups are located on the ground floor and are interconnected by glass sliding doors. Each group has its own kitchenette and a separate bedroom. We believe outdoor play is important and therefore take the children outside as often as possible. We observe and listen to the children to decide which activities to offer. With the oldest toddlers we do 3+ activities, using a variety of materials focused on experience and discovery. The toddlers play on the first floor in two groups, with different play corners such as a home corner, construction corner and car corner. Each toddler group has its own bedroom.
