Welcome to 2Penselen, our small-scale daycare centre located in the heart of the Schilderswijk district in central The Hague. At our facility, all children can play and discover in a safe environment. Every day, our dedicated childcare professionals welcome babies and toddlers with a warm smile. Our location is divided into a baby group and a toddler group, giving each child the space to develop at their own pace. We provide Early Childhood Education (ECE), which gives your child a better start in primary education and helps address any developmental delays early on. Through play, children learn Dutch words, practice numbers, and discover the joy of playing and sharing together. Working with themes is central to our approach. We engage in arts and crafts, read stories, sing songs, and dance. These activities are not only fun but also contribute to your child's language and motor development. Our staff pay attention to each child's individual needs and create a familiar environment where your child feels safe and secure. Our location features its own playground and garden where children can play to their heart's content and enjoy the fresh air. We believe it's important for children to play and explore outdoors. The garden is safely enclosed and provides ample space for various outdoor activities. We take pride in the diversity of cultures and backgrounds within our location. This mix makes our childcare special and educational. Children learn from an early age to interact with differences and discover that everyone is unique. This contributes to an open and respectful attitude towards others. At 2Penselen, we use the Parent App to keep you informed about your child's development. You receive photos, reports, and messages about daily activities. This way, you stay involved in your child's care even when you're not physically present. We welcome children from 0 to 4 years old and offer both full and half-day care. Our opening hours are flexible and tailored to parents' needs.
