Elorah Katwijk

Welcome to Elorah Katwijk Groen van Prinstererschool, our after-school care location at Piet Heinlaan 3 in Katwijk. We provide Christian Reformed after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who have already left primary school. Our team welcomes up to 22 children each afternoon in a homely and safe environment that aligns with the identity of the Groen van Prinstererschool. After school, our pedagogical staff member picks up the children in the school building. We start the afternoon with a shared moment: a chat, a short Bible story or song, and then the children choose what they want to do. There is space to relax with a book, be creative, play outside in the school garden or join a workshop. The activities vary each week; one moment focuses on sports and movement, another on crafts, cooking or a nature project. Our approach is aimed at making every child feel safe and seen. We encourage independence, respect for others and enjoyment in learning. Parents receive a short update via the Parro app about how the afternoon went. During school holidays and study days we remain open, so parents can bring their child to us with peace of mind.
