El Furkan

BSO El Furkan is located on the ground floor of primary school El Furkan at Eduard van Beinumlaan 61 in Schiedam. We are part of Stichting Ouder & Kindcentrum Academia, a growing organization that has been providing high-quality childcare in our city for over ten years. Our after-school care accommodates a maximum of 15 school-going children aged 4 to 13. With us, fun and relaxation come first. After school, children come directly from their classroom to our space, where a homely and safe atmosphere awaits them. We work with a permanent team of pedagogical staff who are ready every day to give the children a pleasant afternoon. Due to our small scale, we know each child well and can truly respond to their needs and interests. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register under number 131619081 since September 5, 2019. We use a horizontal group structure where children come together in age groups. The BSO is open on school days from the moment school ends until 6:30 PM. During school holidays and study days, we offer full-day care so parents can also rely on us then. We believe it's important that children can freely develop with us and make their own choices. There is room for rest and relaxation, but also for play and creative activities. Our pedagogical staff guide this in a positive way and stimulate the social development of the children.
