Welcome to Eiqen&Wiizer KDV Tusken de Marren, our daycare centre in the heart of Woudsend. Since 13 May 2024 we have been offering daycare for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 on the ground floor of Integral Child Centre (IKC) Tusken de Marren at Melchior Clantstrjitte 18. Our location is part of Eigen & Wijzer Friesland B.V., a nationwide organisation that places great value on small-scale, development-oriented childcare. In Woudsend we work closely with primary school Tusken de Marren and the toddler and after-school care located at the same address. This creates one familiar place where children from 0 to 12 can move seamlessly. The group rooms of our daycare are bright, spacious and designed around the world of experience of young children. We maintain a homely atmosphere in which safety, rest and regularity are central. Every baby and toddler is given the space to discover, play and grow at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff closely follow your child’s development and tailor activities and care to individual needs. Outside we have a safe, green playground that we share with the other forms of care. This offers plenty of opportunities for fresh air, exercise and nature experience. We believe it is important that children get to know and appreciate the outdoor world from an early age. As a parent you are actively involved in the upbringing and development of your child. We work with a parent portal and schedule regular parent meetings. There is also room for flexible childcare needs; half days are negotiable by arrangement.
