Eigenwijze Kinderopvang

Welcome to Eigenwijze Kinderopvang Willemspoort, our warm and sustainable daycare centre located at Willemspoort 48 in ’s-Hertogenbosch. We provide care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years in a small-scale, green setting on the edge of the city centre, in the Paleiskwartier district. Our newly built location is designed to connect children with the outdoors: floor-to-ceiling windows and garden doors bring nature inside. In our rich natural garden, children can play on the lawn, enjoy the shade of the trees, ride the mini bike track or explore the sand and water atelier with outdoor play kitchen. When it rains, we put on rain suits and boots and jump in the puddles. In spring we grow tomatoes, garden cress and chives together in our children’s greenhouse – ingredients that later make our warm meals even tastier. Inside, we offer various development-oriented play corners: a home corner, a light studio, a workshop and a toy library. Each day we sing the good-morning song, use the song box and look at the family wall. Babies and toddlers have their own secure play area with baby playpen and a flexible sleep and feeding rhythm. Older children help set the table and enjoy a healthy warm meal prepared with fresh vegetables and fruit. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff believes in growing together. We see every child: we believe in you, give you space, follow your development and name your talents. We provide security and safety as a foundation, challenge children and create wonder every day. In this way we are an extension of the family and a mini-society where children become social, verbal and resilient for the next step. Eigenwijze Willemspoort is open 51 weeks per year from 07:30 to 18:30 (closed on national holidays and between Christmas and New Year). We work closely with primary school Antonius Abt, ensuring a smooth transition for children after their time with us. We warmly invite you for a tour!
