Eigenwijs Schilpkasteel

EigenWijs Schilpkasteel is our welcoming after-school care centre located at Schaapweg 6 in Rijswijk. Nestled in a green, wooded area, the location allows us to make full use of nature every single day. We pick up children from primary schools Maria Montessori, De Waterlelie and De Kronenburghschool, giving parents peace of mind while their children enjoy an unforgettable afternoon. Our programme is different every day and packed with adventure. We focus on the themes of nature, creativity and sport. Children can join capoeira, play the djembe or take an exciting trip to the Boom-klim-eiland. We also run regular workshops such as yoga, judo, skating or surfing. For the sporty ones, there are sports facilities and an art studio on site. We encourage children to help and learn from one another, regardless of age or level. At EigenWijs Schilpkasteel we believe children are naturally creative. We give their talents room to grow through drawing, crafting, building, painting, singing and storytelling. Our pedagogical staff create an exciting programme each day that matches what the children enjoy. We provide care after school, during holidays and on teacher-training days. Swimming lessons can even be taken during BSO hours. Together we experience new adventures every day!
