Eigenwijs Reflekspaleis

EigenWijs Reflekspaleis is an active after-school care (BSO) located at Schaapweg 2d in Rijswijk. We provide care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is part of the EigenWijs organization, which has been challenging children to explore the world since 2012. Our program centers around daily adventures and varied activities. Every day offers new opportunities to discover, create, and be active. We organize activities around themes of nature, creativity, and sports - from capoeira and djembe playing to hut building, jazz dancing, or visiting Boom-klim-eiland. We encourage children to help each other and learn from one another, with all activities suitable for children of all ages and levels. We pick up children from primary schools Maria Montessori, Waterlelie, and Kronenburgh School. Our pedagogical staff - both women and men - create exciting daily programs that match what children enjoy. We believe in the power of familiar faces and horizontal groups, making children feel safe and valued. During school holidays and free days, we organize special trips and adventures. The holiday program is often created together with the children - from a day in the dunes to painting colorful kites. We also offer the option to take swimming lessons during BSO time. Our location offers plenty of space, excellent sports and play facilities, and a cozy interior with cheerful colors and artwork created by the children themselves. We believe it's important for children to grow up with enthusiasm and respect for nature, which is why we often venture outdoors for the most beautiful adventures.
