Eigenwijs Natuur & Avontuur

EigenWijs Natuur & Avontuur is our special after-school care location at Groeneveld 66 in Rijswijk. We are located in Scouting Hoeve Ypenburg, in the middle of nature on the edge of Rijswijk. Here, children aged 4 to 12 experience new adventures every day! Our program is different every day and full of challenging activities. We pick up children from primary schools Maria Montessori, Waterlelie, and Kronenburghschool. Then we head out: building huts in the forest, bootcamping outdoors, making jewelry from natural materials, or jazz dancing and judo in our sports facilities. Our pedagogical staff create an exciting program together with the children, looking at what inspires them. We offer sports training and creative workshops, from badminton to basketball and from skating to surfing. During school holidays, we organize spectacular trips such as a day in the dunes or a visit to Tree-climbing Island. At EigenWijs Natuur & Avontuur, we believe it's important that children grow up with enthusiasm and respect for nature. That's why we are often found outdoors. Being outside is not only very fun and healthy, but you also experience the most beautiful adventures! We give children space to discover new sides of themselves and encourage them to help each other and learn from each other.
