Eigen&Wijzer PO Het Kabouterbos

Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer PO Het Kabouterbos, our small-scale toddler day-care in the green heart of Hollandsche Rading. We offer children aged 2 to 4 a safe, loving and stimulating environment where they can develop to their full potential. Our home is located at Dennenlaan 59, nestled between the forest and the playground of the local primary school; the woods are literally our backyard. Everything we do revolves around the child. We see every child as unique and competent, with a natural drive to learn and grow. Our pedagogical staff follow each child’s rhythm and needs, creating a familiar atmosphere in which toddlers can explore at ease. We work in small, horizontal groups so that every child receives the focused attention they deserve. Through play we work on language development, creative expression and the very first social skills. We craft with natural materials from the forest, sing songs and make full use of the rich outdoor space for discovery walks and movement. Our activities are linked to Early Childhood Education programmes, preparing your child for primary school while they play. Parents are our partners.
