Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer Daycare/Toddler Group IKC WorldWise, located in the heart of Loosdrecht at Laan van Eikenrode 51. As part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) WorldWise, we provide development-oriented childcare for children aged 0 to 4. Together with the primary school and other forms of care under one roof, we create a safe and familiar environment in which children can grow and flourish. Our daycare consists of two horizontal groups: a baby group for children aged 0 to 18 months and a toddler group for children aged 18 months to 4 years. Each group has its own cosy space, designed according to the age and developmental needs of the children. For the very youngest, we use the Baby-Sensi concept: calm, light colours, different areas for play and relaxation, and all materials at baby height. Toddlers have access to a challenging vertical space with plenty of play opportunities. Our pedagogical staff work from the conviction that every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. We provide loving care, child-centred work, nature experiences and development-oriented activities. On a daily basis, we provide a warm lunch that is enjoyed together with the children. When the weather is nice, we go outside to play on our green playground, which invites discovery and movement. The transition to primary education is seamless with us. Children who attend our toddler group can move directly to group 1 of IKC WorldWise on their fourth birthday. We work with one pedagogical vision, so moving to another location is not necessary. Toddlers from 3.5 years old are already allowed to participate in activities in the kindergarten class, so the step to primary school remains small.
