Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer daycare at IKC Bonifatius in Sneek. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our daycare is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Bonifatius, which allows us to offer a continuous development line in upbringing and learning together with the primary school. Everything we do revolves around the unique character of each child. We work from the conviction that every child is unique and grows wiser. Our pedagogical professionals provide loving care and guide children in their natural development. We operate a baby and toddler group (0-2 years) and a preschool group (2-4 years), allowing children to experience peace and regularity with peers of the same age. Our group rooms are fresh and safely furnished with various play corners and appropriate play materials. We offer sufficient freedom of movement and challenge, with an open-door policy that stimulates children's independence. Daily, we go out with the children; playing and moving in the healthy outdoor air is very important to us. We regularly organize excursions and activities that connect with the world of experience of young children. Creative development is central to us. Children are stimulated to be creative with various materials and techniques. We work with themes that connect to their interests and developmental stage. Language development receives much attention through reading aloud, singing, and having conversations. We also teach children to play together, share, and communicate. For babies and toddlers, we follow the rhythm from home whenever possible. We offer a calm environment with fixed care moments. There is sufficient space for sleep moments and we use baby-oriented materials that support development. For all children, we work with a healthy nutrition policy, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. We consider good parent contact essential. Through the Konnect parent app, we keep you involved in your child's daycare. During handover moments, we inform you about how your child experienced the day. We gladly discuss your child's development during parent meetings, often based on observations we have made.
