Eigen&Wijzer KDV JKC De Wiekslag

Eigen&Wijzer Day-care JKC De Wiekslag is located at Dwarswyk 346 in Drachten and forms part of the Jenaplan Child Centre De Wiekslag. We provide day-care for up to 32 children from 0 to 4 years old in a homely, secure setting. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide every child at his or her own pace, following the Eigen&Wijzer vision: children develop in their own way and thus become wiser every day. Pre-school education (VE) is central to our programme. We use recognised developmental programmes that connect with young children’s world of experience. Extra attention is given to language and speech development, allowing children to build a solid foundation for their future school career while they play. The groups are horizontally structured: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are cared for separately, enabling us to tailor care and activities precisely to your child’s age and developmental stage. Our location has been registered in the National Child-care Register since 25 November 2022 under number 170371335, which means parents can apply for child-care allowance.
