Welcome to the childcare at IKC Scholtens in Wolvega! Jenaplan primary school Scholtens and childcare organisation Eigen&Wijzer work closely together within the Integral Child Centre at Wilhelminastraat 18. Pedagogical professionals, teachers and external parties in care, sports and welfare form a seamless care system within the IKC. Together we offer children aged 0 – 13 one place for education and childcare where the development of each individual is central. Our daycare is specifically for children from 0 to 4 years old. At daycare, our pedagogical professionals stimulate children's development in the areas of language, speech, thinking, motor skills, play and social-emotional skills. The indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to challenge children to play and discover. Through close collaboration with education, every child is optimally prepared for the transition at age 4. Children from 2 years old can also join our preschool/toddler care. Being yourself and growing wiser is central to this. At preschool (VE toddler care) we offer toddlers extra guidance, which can be to prevent or remedy delays, or to provide more challenge.
