Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer KDV IKC Hei&Bos, our daycare center located at Middenweg 31 in beautiful Hoenderloo. As part of the Eigen&Wijzer organization, we provide green childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years, with nature and outdoor experiences at the heart of everything we do. Our childcare takes place as much as possible outdoors, in the forest-rich environment of Hoenderloo. Children play in the forest, learn about nature, and discover why trees and plants are so important. They grow their own vegetables and learn in a playful way where food comes from. Taking care of animals is also an important part of our program, helping children develop respect for animals and nature from an early age. Research shows that children who have a strong connection with nature from a young age feel healthier, experience less stress, and have greater well-being. This not only has a positive effect on their welfare but also on their learning ability, cooperation, and group atmosphere. Our pedagogical staff guide children in developing their speech, language, motor skills, and talents. We work with play and learning materials that match the children's age and development. Children with a VE indication receive extra support, ensuring every child is well-prepared for primary education by age four. We offer both daycare for children aged 0-4 years and toddler care for children aged 2-4 years. Our location has space for up to 32 children and we work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups.
