Eigen & Wijzer BSO Natuurlijk!

Welcome to BSO Natuurlijk! by Eigen&Wijzer, located at Strokelweg 6 in the heart of Harderwijk’s beautiful natural surroundings. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, offering them daily opportunities to explore, play and grow in and with nature. Our location is officially certified with the Green Childcare quality mark, which means nature experience, fresh air and movement are central to our programme. At BSO Natuurlijk! children learn that nettles can be turned into soup, branches can become a fort, and birds can be treated to a homemade cake. They head out on treasure hunts with compass and map, discover everything about insects, and embark on sensory walks through the forest. Spending lots of time outdoors and working with nature helps children become self-reliant and learn their own boundaries. Playing in the woods sparks their imagination and teaches them to trust themselves. Our pedagogical professionals work in small groups so that every child receives individual attention and can participate at their own level. Fun and nature experience come first, but we also challenge children to master skills related to nature experience, such as tracking and identifying edible plants. Children are actively involved in planning the activity programme; they are invited to share their ideas and opinions. For moments when children prefer to stay indoors, we have a cosy BSO room in the clubhouse of Scouting Verbraak Margriet Group. Here children can dress up, do crafts, read books or play games. During school holidays we organise our action-packed Holiday Madness programme full of fun outings, sporty workshops and good times. Together with parents we ensure that children can relax after school while their talent development continues.
