Eigen&Wijzer BSO de Sportwijzer

Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer BSO de Sportwijzer, located at Sportparkweg 9 in Maarssen. We are the sporty after-school care where children from 4 years old learn through play that teamwork gets you further than going solo. Our setting on Sportpark Daalseweide gives us access to a sports hall, tennis court and several group rooms that we share with local sports clubs. Movement is at the heart of everything we do. Each afternoon children choose their own activity: football, korfball, hockey, athletics or a creative workshop. We tailor the programme to age, interest and physical ability. Older children receive extra challenges and help design the schedule, diving deeper into technique and team tactics. After school they start with a healthy snack and drink, then dive into action with full energy. Our team consists of sporty childcare professionals with first-aid certificates and a passion for children. They act as mentors for each group, track the children’s development and are the first point of contact for parents. We regularly invite external sports experts for clinics so children can keep discovering new things. During holidays we run Holiday Madness: a festive programme with extra trips and activities that also welcomes children from other Eigen&Wijzer after-school locations in Maarssen.
