Eigen Wijsje

Kinderdagverblijf and Peuteropvang Eigen Wijsje is located within Basisschool De Tweeklank in Aadorp. Together with the after-school care, we form the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Opmaat. Eigen Wijsje specializes in the care of children from 2 years old. Inside, we have a group room specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 years. These rooms are equipped with cozy and educational corners, thematically arranged according to the Uk and Puk method. This method stimulates children's language development, social skills, and motor development in a playful and natural way. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. Therefore, we offer a homely environment where every child has the space to be themselves and to develop. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide the children on their journey of discovery. We play outside every day in our challenging play area on the school grounds. The outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities to run, climb, discover sand and water, and play together. Eigen Wijsje works with an Early Childhood Education (VVE) program. This program focuses on preventing and reducing developmental delays. We pay extra attention to language development and social skills. Parents can use a parent portal to stay informed about their child's development. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. For possibilities on Wednesday and Friday, please contact our customer service.
