Eigen & Wijzer KDV Speelweide

Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer KDV Speelweide, our green daycare centre in the heart of Harderwijk. Since August 2019 we have been located at Middelste Wei 3, where we provide a warm, homely environment for up to 59 children aged 0 to 4 every day. Everything we do revolves around nature, sustainability and small-scale care. The first thing parents notice when they step inside is the green, homely atmosphere. We have deliberately chosen an interior that centres on natural materials and gives children the space to discover and grow at their own pace. Our pedagogical professionals create a safe environment in which every child can be themselves and become a little wiser step by step. Our vision is simple yet powerful: every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. We follow the child’s needs and offer development-oriented activities that match their age and interests. Nature experience is a key starting point; the children have every opportunity to play outside, do some gardening and experience the seasons. Playing, learning, discovering and having fun are central every day. We work with small groups so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Our spacious garden offers plenty of room for outdoor play and nature exploration. In this way, children not only grow in their development with us, but also in their connection to the world around them.
