Welcome to EDEN childcare on an anthroposophical basis, located in a homely atmosphere at Wagenweg 6 in Haarlem. We provide small-scale care for up to 12 children per day, aged 1 to 4 years. Our approach is based on anthroposophical pedagogy, paying attention to the rhythm of the day, seasons and the development of each child. We work with fixed daily routines that provide peace and security, tailored to the natural needs of young children. There is room for free play, creative activities such as painting and crafts, and we pay a lot of attention to outdoor play in our own garden. We use a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in anthroposophical childcare and give each child the personal attention they deserve. We provide organic meals and snacks, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. There is a separate bedroom where children can rest when they need it. At EDEN we find it important that children feel safe and at home, so that they can develop optimally in a familiar environment.
