Duimelot

Welcome to daycare Duimelot, located at Vlierstraat 33 in Vaassen. We are part of KOM Kinderopvang and provide care for the youngest children from 0 to 4 years old. Our location is small-scale and homely, making children feel at home quickly. We work with horizontal groups: separate baby and toddler groups, allowing us to tailor care and activities perfectly to your child's developmental stage. At Duimelot, discovering and experiencing are central. Toddlers have all the space to play with sand and water, crawl through tunnels in our own playground and play in the home corner or at the sand table indoors. We believe that children learn the most by doing. That's why we offer playful activities that match their curiosity and development. At lunchtime we eat a sandwich together and children who still need an afternoon nap get all the rest they need to sleep. Our pedagogical staff are knowledgeable and have an eye for the personal development of each child. We work with Early Childhood Education (VVE), paying extra attention to language development and school preparatory activities. In this way we prepare toddlers for primary school in a playful manner.
