Duimelot

Welcome to Duimelot, a cheerful playgroup in Leiden’s Morsch district. Part of Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Leiden (SPL Opvang), we have provided a safe, playful space for up to 16 toddlers each day since 2016. Our bright, spacious home on Damlaan 2a features a big indoor slide where children can whizz down to their hearts’ content. Our enthusiastic and creative team loves to improvise and happily joins every toddler’s world of imagination—no question is too wild for us. We organise children in horizontal age groups so peers can play, grow and learn together. Parents provide nappies, spare clothes and sometimes fruit; we take care of everything else.
