Welcome to Drakenboot, our daycare center located at Markeweg 2 in Losser. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in the former De Marke primary school building. Our location was completely renovated in 2022 and equipped with modern furniture aligned with our vision. At Drakenboot, we work with horizontal groups, organizing children by age. Our youngest children (0-2 years) are placed in groups called Matroos, Piraat, and Vrijbuiter, while toddlers (2-4 years) join Kapitein, Stuurman, and Zeerover. Each group has a dedicated childcare professional responsible for guidance and care. Our indoor space consists of five spacious daycare groups with a separate entrance. We've created special areas where children can experiment in our science lab or get creative in our painting studio. We also offer activities including yoga, music, and sports games where children playfully develop their motor skills. Our outdoor area of over 500m² is a true paradise for children! With natural play equipment, a barefoot path, climbing structures, sandboxes, and picnic tables, children can explore and play to their heart's content. The space is designed so every child finds an appropriate challenge. For children who need extra stimulation, we offer preschool education (VE) through the Uk & Puk methodology. This is provided Monday through Thursday from 8:30-12:30 in our toddler groups Schipper and Stuurman. At Drakenboot, we believe it's important that children feel safe and secure.
