Doomijn PSZ Meidoornstraat

Welcome to Doomijn PSZ Meidoornstraat, our playgroup located at Meidoornstraat 33 in De Blesse. We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 4, where play and development go hand in hand. In our dedicated playroom several themed corners are ready for use: children can build, cook, puzzle or craft. Each corner is carefully arranged to spark curiosity and to let every child grow at their own pace. Working with themes is central to our approach. We always start from a current topic such as ‘You and me’, ‘Traffic’, ‘Art’ or ‘Animals’. Around that theme we invent songs, dances and creative activities together with the children. In this way they practise language, motor skills and imagination all at once. We regularly do gym and dance together; movement is simply part of the day. Cooking and baking are also on the programme: stirring with small hands, tasting and discovering smells – they love it. Our groups are horizontally organised, so toddlers of the same age can play and learn together. We follow the principles of early childhood education (VVE), working playfully on language, numeracy and social skills. This ensures a smooth transition to primary school. Half-day sessions are possible; many parents choose a morning or afternoon programme that fits their working hours.
