Doomijn Peuteropvang Schellerpark

Doomijn Peuteropvang Schellerpark is located in the neighbourhood farm ‘de Schellerhoeve’ right in Schellerpark, Zwolle. We are a toddler care centre for children aged 2 to 4, where learning and growing happen through play. Our setting is truly special: children share their day with rabbits, goats, chickens and donkeys and help care for the animals and the vegetable garden. Being outdoors and experiencing nature is at the heart of our programme. We go for walks, play hide-and-seek among the bushes and explore the changing seasons. Inside we sing together in the playroom, dance in a circle and craft lanterns for St Martin’s Day or decorate eggs at Easter. We collaborate with primary schools De Octopus and De Phoenix to ensure a smooth transition to primary education. Our qualified staff track each child’s development closely and provide activities that cover every developmental area. In a safe, homely atmosphere children have fun and build self-confidence. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00 and Wednesday and Friday from 08:00 to 12:00.
