Welcome to Doomijn KDV SamSam, a warm and small-scale daycare centre located at Voldersdreef 302 in the green neighbourhood of de Maten in Apeldoorn. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment where fun, attention and development are central. At SamSam, everything revolves around experiencing, discovering and exploring the world. We work according to the Gordon method, in which we listen carefully to what children really want and experience. This way, we stay close to their world of experience and give space to their individuality. Every child is allowed to be their unique self, and we celebrate that every day. Our location is located in the same building as OBS De Kosmos, with which we have a close cooperation. We regularly make use of the large, joint outdoor playground, where children can run, romp, build sandcastles or play hide-and-seek. Nature is our greatest source of inspiration: we go outside every day, because there is so much to discover and experience outdoors. Making music and singing are important parts of our daily activities. We find it important that children can express themselves creatively and enjoy sound and rhythm. In addition, we work a lot with natural materials that stimulate children's imagination and creativity. Our groups are set up as an extension of home. We offer a secure atmosphere in which children feel safe and valued. Thanks to our small-scale set-up, we can give a lot of personal attention and closely follow and stimulate each child's development.
