Right in the middle of Zwolle’s green Wipstrik district, our peuteropvang at Jacob Catsstraat 3 feels like a second home. Children aged 2 to 4 are welcomed into a bright, cheerful space where they can be themselves and play together at their own pace. Our light, homely room offers a safe base for self-discovery and exploration. Around the big craft table children cut, paste and create; they climb the play tower, swoosh down the slide, or curl up on the sofa with a picture book. Building blocks, dolls, musical instruments – everything is within reach so each child can follow his or her curiosity. We follow the pyramid method: short, themed projects that touch every area of development – seasons, the human body, colours and shapes – always through playful investigation. Outside, our leafy garden with trees, shrubs and a large sand-pit invites running, digging and imaginative games. Close cooperation with the nearby Oosterenksschool ensures a smooth transition to primary education. Together we give every toddler the best possible start, full of wonder, joy and confidence.
