Doomijn Peuteropvang Geraniumstraat

Welcome to Doomijn Peuteropvang Geraniumstraat, our colourful horizontal toddler centre located right in the heart of Zwolle’s child-friendly Pierik district. We provide morning care for 15 toddlers aged 2 to 4, Monday to Friday from 08.15 to 12.15. Our building sits next to the large public Assendorp playground, so every day we can swing, slide, climb and run to our hearts’ content. We believe children learn most through play – a day without play is a day without learning. That is why we create the most enjoyable activities every single day: drawing on the big chalkboard, crafting with paint and paper, playing with dolls and cars, or curling up in a cosy corner with a book. We often gather round the big table or in a circle to sing, chat and be creative. Outdoors we make full use of the playground, and we also venture further afield to the Engelse Werk petting zoo, the city farm or the nearby library. As a VE (pre-school education) toddler centre we follow the Pyramid method. In a playful way we stimulate every developmental area: language, numeracy, motor skills and social development. Our experienced pedagogical professionals Irene, Ellen and manager Andrea follow each step in your child’s growth and love to share that wonder with you. Healthy and varied food matters to us. Every morning we serve fresh fruit and drinks, teaching toddlers early on that colourful food is delicious. Allergies or special diets? We naturally take those into account.
