Doomijn Peuteropvang Bachlaan 20

Welcome to Doomijn Peuteropvang Bachlaan 20, located in the heart of the Holtenbroek neighbourhood and its lively community centre. We provide small-scale, safe and playful toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. Our setting works closely with primary school De Toonladder, the Vrije School and CBS Het Carillon, ensuring a smooth transition into formal education. No two days are the same. Our permanent, creative team – Esther, Marja and manager Andrea – create a fresh adventure every morning. We open at 08:15 and close at 17:00, Monday to Thursday (Friday closed). In small, same-age groups children have all the space they need to play, explore and grow. We follow the monthly Piramide themes such as Autumn, Homes, Clothes or Sinterklaas, letting toddlers learn new words, numbers and social skills through play. Inside, the rooms are cosy and clearly arranged with corners for building, reading, crafts and role play. Outside, a spacious, sunny playground awaits with grass to roll on, a sandpit, a climbing house with slide and our own vegetable and flower gardens. Little green fingers proudly harvest their own carrots and flowers. We sing songs, read from our library and create art with paint, shells and natural materials. Parents are regularly invited for a sociable Coffee Morning or Reading Breakfast. Doomijn Peuteropvang Bachlaan 20 is a VE location (early childhood education). This means we give extra attention to language, numeracy and social-emotional development, always at each child’s own pace. If your child has an indication for additional support, two extra sessions can often be funded by the municipality. Together we give your child the very best start for primary school and life beyond.
