Villa Doomijn BSO Zuideinde

Villa Doomijn BSO Zuideinde is a homely after-school care facility in Meppel for children aged 4 to 12. Here, children can play, relax and develop in a safe environment after school. We are located on the same site as Villa Doomijn day-care centre, so brothers and sisters can easily see each other and parents only need to remember one address. Our spacious group rooms accommodate up to 55 children and are set up with corners for crafts, construction, games and quiet reading. We also have a large, green outdoor area where children can run around, play football or simply enjoy the fresh air. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give the children a warm welcome. We start the afternoon with a shared moment: chatting about the school day and enjoying a drink and a snack together. Afterwards, children choose what they want to do. We offer a variety of activities such as creative workshops, sports and movement activities, nature and technology projects and games. There is also room for rest and relaxation; children who need a break can retreat to our quiet corner with books and soft cushions. Villa Doomijn BSO Zuideinde works closely with primary schools in the immediate area. We pick the children up from school and bring them safely to the after-school care. During school holidays and study days we are open all day and organise outings to places like the forest, the petting zoo or fun indoor play parks. Parents can use our parent app to see what their child has been doing and view photos of the activities. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and heard. That is why we work with permanent staff who know the children well and understand their needs. Together with parents, we ensure that the care matches the development and needs of each child.
