Welcome to BSO Beulakerwiede, a small-scale after-school care centre located in the green De Wieden district of Zwolle. We share our premises with primary school De Wieden, together forming an Integral Child Centre (IKC). This means children can walk straight from their classroom to a familiar place where they feel safe and at home. Our location welcomes a maximum of 22 children per day. Because we are small, everyone knows each other by name and there is always time for personal attention. We opened in September 2022 and are still growing. Your ideas and wishes help shape the BSO, because you know best what you need after a long school day. The afternoon starts with a quiet moment: a biscuit and a drink to unwind. Then you decide what to do next. Fancy an adventure? We explore the bushes by the Wijde AA stream, build dens or organise a football match on the playground. Prefer to stay inside? Our art studio is ready for building, crafting or painting, and there is a chill-out corner for reading or playing games. When the weather is really bad we use the school’s playroom, so you can always burn off energy. Creativity, art and culture are at the heart of our programme. Together with our partner Stadkamer we regularly run workshops and projects such as cookie baking, Christmas lunches or creating structures with magnetic blocks. We share our adventures through photo updates so parents can enjoy the fun too. Our team of enthusiastic childcare professionals is ready to make every afternoon special. We are open Monday to Thursday from 14:00 to 18:15. During holidays and on Fridays we combine with BSO Rijnlaan. On Fridays we open if at least four children are registered.
