Welcome to Doomijn KDV Tichelmeesterlaan, a small-scale and homely daycare centre located in the Zwolle-Zuid district. We share our premises with an after-school care facility and a playgroup inside De Marshof primary school, giving your child the chance to become familiar with the school environment from an early age and making the eventual transition effortless. Everything we do revolves around discovery, choice and growth. We believe children know best what they enjoy and what sparks their curiosity. Our permanent pedagogical professionals Ellen, Nicole and Maegan therefore give children the freedom to romp or rest, to build or paint, to play together or spend time alone. We offer themed activities about nature, traffic, art and the seasons. We plant seeds, explore the nearby Zandhove forest to experience the changing seasons and discover what a hospital looks like. Twice a week we also team up with SportService Zwolle for toddler gym sessions in the school’s playroom, full of movement and fun. Our centre has 28 places, keeping the setting intimate and personal. Groups are arranged horizontally, so your child is surrounded by peers while still receiving the calm and attention they need. We provide pre-school education (VE), playfully stimulating language, numeracy and social skills. Indoors you will find a bright, inviting space with different corners: a dolls’ corner, a construction corner, a quiet corner and a creative table. Outdoors we have our own green playground with a sandpit, climbing frame and plenty of room to run and hide. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:15. You can choose full days, half days or flexible care. Consistent faces ensure that both you and your child quickly build a trusting relationship with our team.
