Welcome to Doomijn KDV Smeengestraat, our daycare centre right in the heart of Ruinen. We provide care for up to 28 children aged 0 to 4 in a homely and secure setting. Every day our team of eight qualified pedagogical professionals – Tessa, Angelique, Lianne, Maureen, Lisa, Mirjam, Francien and manager Irma – is ready to guide your child with warmth and expertise. Child development is our core focus. We encourage playful exploration of the world and challenge children to discover and develop their own talents and abilities. We do this by offering a variety of fun and exciting activities and by using methods that address every area of development. In a safe, relaxed atmosphere where fun comes first, we work on growth, self-reliance, individuality and self-confidence. Our spaces are carefully designed: an inspiring indoor area and a secure outdoor space where children can romp and explore. We work with horizontal groups so children play with peers and we can track their development optimally. Pre-school education (VVE) is naturally embedded in the daily programme. Flexible childcare options make life easier for parents: choose 41 or 52 weeks per year, or join us for toddler play mornings.
