Welcome to daycare centre Roezemoes! We are located in a charming city villa at Soerenseweg 70 in Apeldoorn. For over fifteen years our close-knit team of professional pedagogical staff has started every day eager to explore the world together with the children. We provide care for up to 55 children aged 0 to 4 and follow the Reggio Emilia approach: talents and interests are given free rein, because curiosity is the best teacher. Inside, a spacious play hall invites children to crawl, run and dance freely. Our art studio encourages creative expression; here little artists can work unhindered with paint, clay and other materials. The villa is surrounded by a large green garden designed as a discovery paradise. Natural play elements, climbing houses and an inviting sandpit offer endless fun while stimulating gross motor skills. We work with three home groups, each offering its own safe haven. Pearl is for the youngest from 0 to 2 years, Ruby for toddlers aged 2 to 4, and Sapphire is our vertical group where children from 0 to 4 play together and learn from each other. Every group has its own sleeping area so rest and routine are guaranteed throughout the day. Shared meals and discoveries are central. We believe children develop social skills through joint activities. We regularly visit a nearby nursing home and collaborate with primary school De Heuvellaan. These encounters enrich the children’s world and support their social-emotional development. In short, at daycare centre Roezemoes every child feels at home and has every opportunity to be themselves.
