Welcome to Doomijn KDV Geert Grooteweg, our daycare center in the heart of Zwolle where nature takes center stage. Located at Geert Grooteweg 23-25, we form an integral child center together with Florens Radewijnsschool. Our facility features a large green outdoor playground that connects directly to the schoolyard, allowing children aged 0-4 to fully enjoy outdoor activities. Outdoor play is our standard. We go outside every day because nature is our greatest playground. The forest and animal meadow are just around the corner, and at the adjacent care farm, our children quickly befriend the sweetest animals. We believe children learn best by exploring, trying, and sometimes getting dirty. That's why we always have rain gear ready and can play freely in the mud. Our small-scale childcare works with vertical groups, where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers play together and learn from each other. The oldest toddlers get to play with the kindergarten children from school, creating beautiful learning moments and a smooth transition to elementary school. During special occasions like Sports Day, Children's Book Week, and holidays, we collaborate with the school on joint activities. We offer various types of care: full days, half days, or flexible care, always tailored to what you as a parent need. Our experienced pedagogical staff closely follow each child's development and adjust activities to their interests and needs. We work with recognized development methods that pay attention to all developmental areas.
