Doomijn KDV Beukenstraat

Welcome to Doomijn KDV Beukenstraat, located right in the heart of vibrant Zwolle. We are housed within the ‘De Springplank’ community school at Beukenstraat 83, where our single mixed-age group (vertical group) welcomes up to sixteen children from 0 to 4 years. Our days revolve around experiencing and exploring. Despite being in the city centre, we have a sea of space: a huge outdoor playground with a hill and tunnel, a vegetable garden bursting with colours and flavours, and a ‘discovery path’ where little hands and feet can feel and experience to their hearts’ content. Indoors we enjoy a large gym and long corridors perfect for riding bikes and moving about. Regular excursions take us to the petting farm, the supermarket or to watch the fire brigade in action—every day is a new adventure. Our close-knit team of familiar pedagogical staff—Lindi, Marscha, Joyce, Manuela and manager Elly—track and stimulate each child’s development. We provide a safe yet challenging environment where children can playfully explore the world, discover their talents and build self-confidence, always with fun as the top priority.
