Welcome to Doomijn BSO Zalmkolk, located at Zalmkolk 2 in Zwolle. Our team lives by the motto ‘Doing things together means growing together’. We are housed inside Jenaplanschool de Phoenix, which gives us exceptional opportunities perfectly aligned with what you want for your child. With us, every afternoon is pure enjoyment. We have two bright, spacious classrooms where children can play and explore to their heart’s content. The construction corner is stocked with Lego and wooden blocks for tomorrow’s architects. The home corner with its little kitchen invites role-play and social interaction. Our craft cupboard is always open: children pick their own materials and start creating. We value this freedom of choice because it teaches kids to make independent decisions. Doing things together is just as important. We cook communal meals, read aloud from exciting books and play outdoor games on the large schoolyard. Thanks to our location we can also visit the nearby neighbourhood farm. Indoors we have our own gym, so we can move and play sports in any weather. Nothing is mandatory, everything is allowed. We encourage children to try new things while always respecting their own pace and interests. Together we turn every afternoon into an adventure. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 14:30–18:15, Friday 12:15–18:15. On Wednesdays we start at 12:15 provided at least four children are present. We welcome up to 55 children aged 4 to 12.
