Doomijn BSO Betelgeuze 4

Welcome to Doomijn BSO Betelgeuze 4, the place in Lemmer where children aged 4 to 12 can play, discover and relax after school. Located right on the kindergarten playground of primary school Tweespan, we have plenty of space: a large room plus our own yard with playhouses, a big sandpit and grass to run, play football or simply hang out. So many children, so many wishes! That is why every afternoon we offer a varied programme. Tag, hopscotch, crafts, cooking, baking, singing or making music – it is all possible in our cosy BSO room. We work with themes such as the European Championship, National Pancake Day and Children’s Book Week, so there is always something new to experience. Indoors we have a creative studio and a cooking/baking café; outdoors we use the playground and the green schoolyard as much as possible, rain or shine. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to give children room for their imagination and for themselves. We encourage playing together and learning from each other. We work with a lower- and upper-primary group, yet children also seek each other out across age groups. Through our children’s council the kids can help decide on the activities: do we stay inside or go outside, do we build today or bake cookies? Invent together, do together – that makes our BSO a little party every day. In short, boredom is banned at Doomijn BSO Betelgeuze 4. We provide a safe, homely environment where children can be themselves and where they love to go after school.
